Please be advised that Midmar WTW will be shut down on Wednesday, the 26th of August 2026 at 21h00 until 07h00 on Thursday, the 27th of August 2026.
This is to conduct emergency repairs on the chlorine dosing system, following a major failure. Efforts are being made to ensure that water supply to the customers is not affected by filling up the bulk water supply reservoirs prior to the shut down, but UUW cannot guarantee that supply will not be interrupted.
